Aluminium systems company AluK is now offering its RIBA approved CPDs on demand – either at its Shoreditch Design Studio, at architects and specifiers’ own offices, or online.
There are currently two options available ‘Aluminium Curtain Wall Design: A Technical Guide’ and ‘Approved Doc L 2021: Impact and Actions for Aluminium Window and Door Performance.’
Both have been created to support architects with expert advice on design and specification essentials for window, door and glazing systems and on meeting the very latest compliance legislation.
Alongside the RIBA approved CPDs, AluK also offers a design focused ‘Buildings as Theatre’ CPD, created to help specifiers get a better understanding of the influence and impact of framing, scale and texture in curtain walling on building design, as well as emphasising the sustainable properties of aluminium and glass.
AluK’s newly appointed Head of Architectural Projects Jordan Kingman explained: “We are currently running all these CPDs on demand, but they will shortly be added to the regular programme of events at our Shoreditch Design Studio, so architects can register now for their preferred option.”
